Wee Love Learning Center includes cultural and ability diversity training as part of its curriculum. Children are provided with toys, activities, and an environment to develop an understanding and respect for different cultures and abilities. Through Christian principles, our staff introduces and discusses with students how God has made each of us different and how he wants us to love and respect one another.
Wee Love Learning Center purchases a Bible story book for each child to provide both children and their families a tool to read and grow together in God’s Word. Each week we will focus on learning a Bible story. Parents are asked to review the story at home and to use the special Parent Connection section to promote interaction between all members of the family. A song, prayer, and picture to go with every story enhance the learning experience. We pray this book is a helpful tool for the whole family to engage, learn, and grow together.
Wee Love students are provided with opportunities to enrich their learning and understanding through field trips. Parents will be notified of these special trips via calendars, newsletters, or special emails. Permission slips will be required.
Wee Love Learning Center invites all of our families to be involved in their child’s education. In addition to our typical school day, we offer several opportunities for our students, their parents, other relatives, and Eternal Love members to connect. We sing in church several times a year and the children present a Christmas program. We also offer Family Night events during the school year. Two Parent/Teacher Conferences are offered each year. These events are not mandatory, but we encourage our families to make use of these additional opportunities to enhance their child’s experience in our program.
Wee Love Learning Center and our After School Care ministry provide nutritional snacks during the day. Snacks are purchased by the staff to ensure they meet Wisconsin State and Federal US guidelines. Parents contribute to cover this cost. Lunch meals are not provided by our Center. Parents of children enrolled in our After School Care supply lunches for their children.
NOTE: Government guidelines state that all meals must include “a balance of fluid milk, meat/meat alternatives, vegetables, fruits, and grains with portion sizes tailored to children’s specific age groups.”
